Family Owned and operated for over 80 years. J.W. Bennett first established Bennett Lumber Company in 1920, Where Bennett Lumber was strictly a sawmill operation

In 1947 J.W. Bennett stepped down and handed over the company to his son J.O. Bennett J.O. took the company a step further by adding a dry kiln and a planer mill.

After graduating college in 1973 J.O.'s oldest son James W. Bennett started eager to learn Since 1983 James W. Bennett has been holding the reins of the company. Bennett Lumber Company has made many enhancements to diversify the company, with the changing market. James added another planer, and a Re-Man plant.

Our re-man plant produces deck components that are manufactured from a #1 grade material that is selected from our planner mills.
